DIESEL - GETLEGG CAMPAIGN

A couple months back I posted the new Diesel campaign captured by Steven Meisel. Not long after that Diesel also asked me to star in a campaign film for GETLEGG denim, shot in and around New York. Notice in the film how I master the art of fearless jay-walking - that big rig truck right behind me was NOT an extra, but I’m sure he was pretty irritated!

If you couldn’t tell from the picture, Dae Na and I listened to old Elvis tunes the entire time these pictures were being taken! As part of my campaign with Diesel I was invited as the guest of Diesel founder Mr. Renzo Rosso to the relaunch of the brand in Brazil last week. Mr. Rosso is a very smart man who also wrote an interesting book on being really stupid (Go HERE). He gave me a copy which I just started reading, and I think I’m going to like it!To see pictures of last week’s event in Sao Paulo go to my Facebook album HERE.

Here’s another Steven Meisel shot from the new Diesel campaign. If you couldn’t tell from the picture, Dae Na and I listened to old Elvis tunes the entire time these pictures were being taken! While shooting this I balanced on the seat this way for what felt like a good 10 minutes straight - talk about a workout! I do love the way these pictures came out and I LOVED my rockabilly-chic hair so much I wore it home!

The 9 ads in question are actually all tongue-in-cheek phony campaigns for fictional brands, photographed by Steven Meisel with styling by Edward Enninful.I was asked to be in 2 of the 9 images, the first being a fictitious perfume called “Vainglorious” which features Karen Elson, Guinevere van Seenus and myself in what may arguably be the most glamorous iMac Photo Booth picture ever!
