MILAN FASHION WEEK via INSTAGRAM - September 18th to 21st

You all know how much I love to reminisce. MFW was FUN! Jeremy Scott’s Barbie inspired collection won me over, as well as the gorgeous prints at Cavalli. Oh, and Versace gets the award for coolest fashion week invitations. Take me back to Milano please…

  1. Guess who made it to Milan Fashion Week!? At the discotastic if backstage of #dsquared2 to say hello to my Canadian boys.
  2. Decided to tone it down with this subtle and understated number for Moschino. #CocoPops
  3. It’s Barbies world, we all just live in it. Thanks #Moschino and Jeremy Scott for putting the fun back in fashion.
  4. My look the first half of the day at Milan Fashion Week - head to toe DSquared!
  5. What’s as good as gold? Two front row tickets to Versace!
  6. And my MaxFactor glamour transformation with PatMcGrath is complete - featuring New Creme Puff Blush, Colour Intensifying Balm and Glamour Extensions 3-in-1 Mascara.
  7. Cavalli’s Angels before the show.
  8. So honored to be an Event Chair at the Amfar event. Thank you to Bulgari and Versace for my look - feeling very “Dynasty” in the best way.
  9. Last night in Versace, goodbye Milan!

CANNES via INSTAGRAM (Part Two) - May 22nd to 23rd

Oh Cannes, how I miss thee.

  1. I paired my #OhSoCocoBB pearl ear cuff with a Roberto Cavalli tuxedo. If you like the look, the cuff is available for $28 here:
  2. My look for the amfAR gala at Cannes Film Festival was created by my friend Olga Sorokina of IRFE. Jewelry is my own #ohsococobb collection.
  3. Making a turn on the red carpet at the amfAR Gala.
  4. Olga and I with the golden wooly mammoth skeleton by #DamienHirst that just raised 11 million euros for #amfAR tonight. What a wonderful evening.
  5. Au revoir Cannes! It’s been quite the week. Till next time….

Coco X Cavalli - Hunger Magazine

Last week I posted the music video Rankin created to go along with this editorial. Yes, you heard right - I’m actually singing on this one. Yikes. Here are a few of the kaleidoscopic shots going into the most recent issue of Hunger Magazine featuring the latest from Roberto Cavalli. Stay tuned for more, and go watch the video HERE.

Hunger Magazine - Coco X Cavalli

I’ve always enjoyed the new opportunities that being a model has brought along. It has led me to try interesting things like creating a jewelry line, a documentary film and, more recently, a little foray into television. However, when Rankin, one of my favorite photographers, asked me to consider SINGING for our new editorial I said flat out “NO WAY!” I’ve done my fair share of karaoke in Koreatown and I’ve seen the looks on those people’s faces. Eventually he and my husband did a little arm twisting and chicken name-calling and they got me into a studio in Brooklyn to let my inner Tina Turner take flight - or not!

In all seriousness, I had a lot of fun on this Coco X Cavalli editorial for Hunger Magazine - but do NOT hold your breath for the full length album any time soon ;)

Xx Coco

One of my favorite shows in Milan has been Roberto Cavalli. He’s working with a new stylist and I noticed his clothing has taken a slightly darker, more edgy turn. The cast of girls was great: opened by the Italian superstar model Maria Carla, the show also had the ever beautiful Natasha Poly, Anja Rubik, Joan Smalls (love her!) and one of my favorite newer girls, Jac Jagaciak.
