DINNER WITH GAULTIER - via Instagram.
March 17th, 2012

Last night my dear friend Jean Paul Gaultier asked me if I would join him at a gala for Lycee Francais de New York (literally meaning: The French School of New York). At the event I bumped into Linda Evangelista (her son goes to the school), who told me she was wearing my look from Jean Paul’s S/S 2012 runway show. I was thrilled she even knew who I was, let alone what I wore 2 seasons back! Linda gave a lovely speech and handed Gaultier, the guest of honor, an award from the school. I had an absolutely lovely time and sat with the amazing Hannelore Knuts and Jean Paul Gaultier - we all made a pact to join next season’s ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ though Jean Paul sadly backed out at the very last minute.

  1. Wearing Jean Paul Gaultier and heading to Les Années Folles where my dear Mr. Gaultier is being honored!
  2. Look who came to pick me up!
  3. This is a lovely moment - Jean Paul Gaultier chatting with Bill Cunningham.
  4. I have a pretty great seat at this event tonight.
  5. Jean Paul with his well-deserved award.
  6. The beautiful Hannelore Knuts, Jean Paul Gaultier and I.

Vainglorious - By Steven MeiselThose of you looking through your latest November issue of W Magazine might have noticed some rather strange advertisements featuring various models and celebrities like Linda Evangelista and Joan Rivers. The 9 ads in question are actually all tongue-in-cheek phony campaigns for fictional brands, photographed by Steven Meisel with styling by Edward Enninful.I was asked to be in 2 of the 9 images, the first being a fictitious perfume called “Vainglorious” which features Karen Elson, Guinevere van Seenus and myself in what may arguably be the most glamorous iMac Photo Booth picture ever! All eyes on you!For more information go to W Magazine (HERE)

I was just going through my hard drive and I came across this - probably the single greatest picture I’ve ever been a part of. Talk about a dream team.
