For my third White House | Black Market commerical we stuck with the dancing theme, but brought in one of my favorite photographers, Ellen Von Unwerth, to direct. You might remember Ellen shot my Vs Magazine cover and editorial last year. I love the song and vibe of this commercial and I had so much fun messing up that perfectly minimalist set!

A few months ago I posted one of my favorite editorials of the year - a shoot by Ellen Von Unwerth in VS Magazine (if you didnt see it already, go HERE). My husband, James, was on set with me and took these behind-the-scenes pics on his iPhone. If you hadn’t already guessed it, James is pretty much the photographer behind most of the pictures and videos I post here and on Instagram. I must say, it’s definitely nice to have a hubby documenting your life for you ;) Xx Coco
Vs. Mag Editorial- By Ellen Von Unwerth September 2012
When Ellen asked me to be a part of her 1950s B movie-inspired shoot for this month’s Vs. Magazine I jumped at the chance to play an off-the-wall character for her yet again. We shot this in early July, right after my trip to Monaco with James (remember that?) in an old movie theater in Paris. I posted the cover a few weeks ago, but now I’m happy to show you some of the crazy-fun editorial for the first time on the web!
Yesterday I posted my new Vs. magazine cover, but I’d also like to introduce you to my beautiful Vs. cover co-stars: Liv Tyler, Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried. Somehow I slipped in there as the only model of the group ;)
Which is your favorite? Personally I like them all, but adore Amanda’s.

I’m so happy with this new cover, shot by one of my favorite people Ellen Von Unwerth. I can’t wait to show you all the very unusual editorial that accompanies this. Ellen and I always have fun! Go HERE to see the last time we got together…
I’m obsessed with the other model in this video - dont you think she could be my fashion grandma?! She told me she used to runway model in the 1960’s for the great houses like Chanel and Dior and then went onto assist Siegfried and Roy onstage until they retired. Now she is again working as a fashion model in Germany and I was privileged enough to work with her on this shoot arranged by another great woman in fashion, Ms. Ellen Von Unwerth.
We filmed inside the old Berlin powerplant and my husband James documented the entire day for me. If you’re interested, you can find some of the resulting portraits Ellen shot HERE. They were sponsored by the brand Schwarzkopf which, coincidentally, I am doing another special project with this summer in collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld!
I am so fortunate to get to work with these legends!
