Longchamp Fall/Winter 2012 - Behind the Scenes.

This has to be one of my favorite campaign videos ever. Watch Longchamp’s behind-the-scenes film above and see how we made it snow in Paris - in Spring! Also quite entertaining: Emily Didonato and I actually riding a tandem bike - harder than you think! If you haven’t already seen the actual Longchamp campaign video, check it out HERE

Annnnd if that wasn’t enough, I just posted a whole gallery of behind-the-scenes pictures on my Facebook! Go HERE

DIESEL - GETLEGG CAMPAIGN

A couple months back I posted the new Diesel campaign captured by Steven Meisel. Not long after that Diesel also asked me to star in a campaign film for GETLEGG denim, shot in and around New York. Notice in the film how I master the art of fearless jay-walking - that big rig truck right behind me was NOT an extra, but I’m sure he was pretty irritated!

Oh! My Bike! - Longchamp FW 13

The sequel to my last campaign video for Longchamp takes it to a whole new level (and a whole new city) as Emily Didonato and I hit the streets of Paris on our tandem bike. We literally ran up and down these steps ALL DAY LONG carrying bags that were filled with 30lbs of stuff. That’s method modeling!

Choreographed by Bianca Li. To see the last campaign video “Oh! My dog!” go HERE.

FNO - Last Night

Well hello there! I’m thrilled to be able to post this, my first blog written while on set for The Face. (I’m sitting here in the little hair and makeup tent I showed you earlier.) Last night was the 4th annual Fashion’s Night Out and the first one where, shockingly, I actually didn’t dance! I did have a great time, though. I went to Longchamp and Diesel who were both premiering new campaign films that I’m in (Watch HERE and HERE). I finished off the night by going to the BlackBook and Oxygen party with two of my The Face compadres, Nigel and Karolina.

Thanks to Mr. Gilbert Le (the same guy who brought you our wedding film in 2010) we have these great pictures of the night. Stay tuned for the video coming soon!

Behind the Scenes - WHBM’s Coco vs. Coco

We posted the world premiere of the new White House Black Market TV commercial yesterday, and today I’m happy to show you a great little behind-the-scenes of how we pulled off the epic Coco vs. Coco battle. I had so much fun working with the entire team on this new spot and I’m especially thankful to my amazing choreographer, Laurin Latarro, for teaching me my fancy moves.

TIM WALKER - Albion Campaign 2012

Tim Walker has always been one of my favorite photographers to work with. Even in this new age of digital everything, Tim is a firm believer in the magic of old school film. Like a master theater director he creates all the special effects you see in his pictures and on set using amazing props and settings in lieu of Photoshop post-production.

For Albion’s 2012 campaign (my second time working with Albion and Tim) we traveled to northern England with giant spools of thread, massive paper planes and other Alice in Wonderland-esque props. Stay tuned for my behind the scenes pictures, and check out my British Vogue Editorial from a few years back to see more of Tim’s amazing work HERE (click me) - melting trombones, cotton wool clouds, a 7-foot glove… it’s all there.

LONGCHAMP - F/W 12

A few weeks ago I posted the first new image for my Fall/Winter Longchamp campaign and now there are 5 new images out! Emily Didonato and I had a crazy time shooting this  - we were literally hauling fully-packed Longchamp bags and suitcases up and down thousands of Parisian steps. Just wait til you see the little behind-the-scenes video I’m going to post later!

DIESEL -F/W 12 by Steven MeiselHere’s another Steven Meisel shot from the new Diesel campaign. If you couldn’t tell from the picture, Dae Na and I listened to old Elvis tunes the entire time these pictures were being taken! As part of my campaign with Diesel I was invited as the guest of Diesel founder Mr. Renzo Rosso to the relaunch of the brand in Brazil last week. Mr. Rosso is a very smart man who also wrote an interesting book on being really stupid (Go HERE). He gave me a copy which I just started reading, and I think I’m going to like it!To see pictures of last week’s event in Sao Paulo go to my Facebook album HERE.

DIESEL - F/W 12 by Steven MeiselHere’s my latest DIESEL campaign with my favorite fashion dream-team - Steven Meisel, Pat McGrath and Guido Palau. While shooting this I balanced on the seat this way for what felt like a good 10 minutes straight - talk about a workout! I do love the way these pictures came out and I LOVED my rockabilly-chic hair so much I wore it home!

BANANA REPUBLIC CAMPAIGN - Trina Turk Collection

Early this Spring I had a much-appreciated break from the cold in New York when I flew to Palm Springs, California, with Banana Republic. The beautiful setting perfectly reflected the colorful collection by designer Trina Turk. In addition to a few glorious days in the sun, I also got to know one of the funniest male models you’ll ever meet - Mr. David Gandy. We traded our most ridiculous modeling stories, which (sadly) will continue to be locked in the vault… for now.
